The Data & Analytics team at Decision Resources Group (DRG) provides custom and semi-custom data and analytical solutions to some of the largest biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies in the world. We are seeking a self-directed, organized, and enthusiastic Junior Project Manager, Analytics to join our dynamic, high-growth team.
As a Junior Project Manager, Analytics, you are interested in tackling the tough challenges of life sciences companies in a data-driven manner. You will create project plans and monitor project progress, as well as gathering and documenting all project results. You will also coordinate the efforts of team members, in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will work side-by-side with a senior project manager and project owner, to ensure all specifications within a project are implemented.
Coordinate cross-functional, data-driven projects to ensure deliverables are to scope, timelines and met and – mostly important – clients are satisfied
Monitor project timelines and ensure accuracy in project status and forecasting
Organize parts of or whole projects and report on progress
Identify and raise issues and risks, and recommend action to resolve
Manage and communicate timelines to internal teams
Coordinate and facilitate internal and client-facing project meetings
Develop and execute creative solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Promote inter-departmental collaboration to foster a positive team environment, effective communications, and efficient use of resources to meet contract deadlines
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or healthcare related field and/or equivalent education and work experience
1+ years of project management experience, including tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions
Background in healthcare strongly preferred
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent client relationship management skills, including proficiency in all types of communication
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
