The per diem Patient Experience Representative (10 South - Solid Organ Transplant/Surgical Programs) will be responsible for:
Providing administrative support for 24 bed inpatient surgical unit and covering on other two surgical units as needed.
Interfacing with patients/families and staff to triage requests for information and services.
Organizing medical records, information, materials and supplies.
Serving as liaison to resolve equipment, supply, cleaning and safety issues.
Accessing hospital and department systems to enter and retrieve information.
Monitoring daily operations and communicating with clinicians and/or supervisor to maintain efficient patient/visitor flow.
Responding to requests for information and assistance, and providing general office support as required.
Providing positive and effective customer service and contributing to teamwork within and between departments.
Performing various administrative functions to support the operations of Surgical Programs.
To qualify, you must have:
A high school level education. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1 – 2 years of previous work experience. 2-3 years’ experience in a hospital setting preferred.
The ability to interpret data and take appropriate action.
Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office.
