The Senior Patient Experience Representative will be responsible for:

  • Assisting patients from all over the world access care at Boston Children's Hospital.

  • Providing superb service to our patients and families while supporting the world renowned Vascular Anomalies Center.

  • Assisting patients with scheduling multidisciplinary clinic appointments.

  • Registering patients for office visits and procedures. Obtaining and updating patient demographic, insurance, and primary care/referring doctor information. Collecting copays.

  • Obtaining clinical information from referring clinicians and patients.

  • Preparing information for weekly scientific conference.

  • Collaborating with other hospital staff, community-based professionals and patient families in developing internal and external educational and psychosocial support systems.

To qualify, you must have:

  • A high school level of educational development; Bachelor's preferred.

  • One to two years of previous experience in a health care setting.

  • The analytical skills and judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action in circumstances and situations that vary

  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.

  • The ability and desire to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.

  • Strong attention to details, commitment to excellence and strong planning and organizational skills, using time efficiently and prioritizing and coordinating tasks appropriately.

  • The innate desire to go above and beyond to help our patients and families.

  • The ability to be able to provide superb service to our patients, families and referring providers.
