Microchip Technology Senior/Principal Software Engineer - Development Tools in Chandler, Arizona


This position is for an experienced, customer-focused engineering application developer with five to fifteen years of experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with an international, multi-site team to develop distributed code-generation applications. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the following objectives:

  • Provide salient technical input, in manageable terms, to stakeholders, management and teammates

  • Work with system architects to ensure a smooth and effective user experience

  • Collaborate with a wide range of other engineers to provide a superior product to our customers

  • The ability to mentor both up and down the reporting hierarchy is strongly desired


Significant professional experience in JavaScript and other languages

Well-developed design esthetic with significant practice of designing systems and seeing them through to functioning reality

Professional experience with Design Patterns and other design techniques

Expertise in web deployment is a significant plus

Seasoned and practiced mentoring abilities are a significant plus
