  • Enterprise Project Management Solutions* (EPMS) is part of the larger Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) within EF & IT, which partners across the company to ensure strategic alignment between business objectives and projects executed as well as to provide governance for the enterprise portfolio of projects in terms of delivery, culture, risk management, effectiveness and efficiency of project management resources.

EPMS is a growing team of project management professionals serving as an internal resource pool for both cross-enterprise initiatives and under-served areas of the company who do not otherwise have access to project management capabilities within their own groups. This team will support a broad range of initiatives, serving businesses throughout the Wells Fargo enterprise, and as such offers the opportunity to build a diverse set of project experiences and perspective.

  • Key Job Responsibilities*

Responsible for, directly and through subordinates, for managing all activities and people associated with complex projects across a line of business. Manages a program or series of projects associated with a specific business strategy to obtain benefits and controls. Interacts with senior leadership and major stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects.

  • Setting high level strategy on business, product, and customer service needs

  • Analyzing profitability, policy, programs and staffing to ensure optimal business results; initiating and directing complex projects, including those managed by others

  • Directing project staff

  • Working with multiple groups to identify requirements, develop project plans and strategies, preparing business cases and assigning tasks

  • Influencing and negotiating with senior management

  • Managing task forces

  • Overseeing project control and related risks

  • Interfacing with high level users to define needs and issues; managing the creation of user training

  • Managing budget/forecasting

  • Developing and/or authorizing policies/procedures/controls within scope of project to optimize results while ensuring compliance with government regulations and enterprise policies

  • Locations :* Phoenix, AZ; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Des Moines, IA; San Antonio, TX; St. Louis, MO (flexible in specific areas of the Wells Fargo footprint in similar geographies)

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project management experience

  • 3+ years of management experience

  • Ability to manage in a matrixed organization environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Superior project management skills
