REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (Respiratory) PRN: 7p-7a (2510002242)
A graduate or registered Respiratory Therapist is an individual who practices under medical supervision and delivers respiratory care services to most areas of the hospital.
Assess, treat, evaluate and monitor patients with various disorders of the cardiopulmonary system.
Ability to use appropriate equipment for mechanical ventilation and airway support.
Special duties as required including patient and family education
- Graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy School. Minimum A.S. or A.A.S required and B.S. preferred
- A minimum of 6 months recent ICU and ER experience required. Proficient in all patient care areas (i.e. ICU, ER and floor)
TN Licensure with ABG endorsement
Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
