Tell us where you want to be located!The General Manager works in collaboration with operations, corporate support departments, and transportation providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery of transportation services. Will act as the internal liaison between departments and clients to ensure that the location is fully compliant with all contractual requirements.Responsibilities: Contract oversight and facilitation of client needs with anticipation of growthIdentify potential risk and develop resolution processesContinually analyze program needs and productivity and adjust staffing and resources to ensure cost effectivenessDevelopment and oversight of documentation or work plans as required or neededOversight of vehicle maintenance programOversight of employee training and developmentMaintain a thorough understanding of contract and awareness of changesMaintain a thorough understanding of Ride Right policies and employee handbook guidelinesDevelop a working relationship with client to ensure exceptional customer service needs and problem resolution processes are in placeAct as a liaison between Ride Right and client to address any concerns or issues that may arise and do so in a timely mannerAct in a consultative manner, developing and presenting annual plan reviewsProvide education and information to client regarding Ride Right procedures, services available, and changes within the Para-Transit industryMaintain a Safety First attitude with client and personnelDevelop and maintain a good understanding of local climate needs and issues pertaining to the passenger transportation industryDevelop and maintain a thorough understanding of ridership policies to ensure smooth transportation servicesCapability of addressing any questions /concerns regarding site transit programMaintain all employee and vehicle files in accordance with FTA and DOT guidelinesDevelop and maintain thorough knowledge of Ride Right departments and compliance programsOversight of Federally mandated Drug and Alcohol programPerform additional duties as assigned or requiredMonitor performance of direct reports and provide coaching and guidanceMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field3 years of experience in transit management with expertise in Fixed Route from larger systemExperience establishing key processes and proceduresExtensive knowledge of Trapeze transit routing systemExtensive analytical and proven data collection methodsExtensive knowledge of budget and cost analysisMust be able to evaluate and resolve problems and issues in a constructive mannerMust possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and job positionsPrevious management experience in the Para-Transit or Fixed Route industriesPrevious experience working with senior citizens or persons with disabilitiesPrior contract and or project management experienceProven experience in operations and management of staffProven experience supervising and monitoring the delivery of contractual servicesProven experience in the area of data analyticsThorough knowledge of ADA, D
