Responsible for all recruiting functions, specifically geared toward sourcing and selecting job applicants to fill existing position openings within Fifth Third. May be involved in a wide variety of Human Capital project work and initiatives.

While operating within the Bank#s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement talent acquisition/sourcing strategies for exempt and nonexempt position openings to ensure hiring managers have an adequate pool of qualified candidates needed to achieve departmental and organizational goals. This willentailday-to-day management of the recruitment process and a great deal of interaction with hiring managers at all levels of the organization.
. Conducts intake sessions with manager to learn about position/opportunity and gain all necessary information about role/responsibilities and competencies to successfully source
. Conducts screening interviews with qualified candidates
. Screens out those candidates who do not meet the minimum qualifications for the specific job, records reasons for turn down and informs candidates
. Refers qualified applicants to respective hiring manager
. Works with Recruiting Coordinator to schedule interviews utilizing competency interviewing tools/guides
.Corresponds with the candidate on the benefits of working for Fifth Third Bank, both personally and professionally as well as notify them of employment considerations
. Collaborates with managers on hiring decisions and work with Human Capital partners on offers
. Ensures that all necessary pre-hire testing for all candidates has been performed
. Maintains a constant and steady focus on the marketplace and report market intelligence
. Develops knowledge of assigned business groups structure, strategies, and critical skill requirements
. Develops and executes sourcing and recruiting strategies to proactively source and recruit the top talent based on defined job criteria and competencies well positioning the Fifth Third employment brand
. Works closely with Human Capital Business Partner to develop a strategic staffing plan to meet the needs of the line of business
. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with senior managers.
. Seek out and develop positive relationships with internal and external clients to maintain a pool of qualified job applicants
. Develops and maintains relationships with external employment sources, including graduate and undergraduate placement offices, research firms, and employment agencies in an effort to maintain an effective recruitment program
. Conducts training and provides materials for hiring managers to increase skills in competency interviewing and assessment of candidates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: May provide guidance and direction to less senior talent acquisition consultants.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in HR or business related field preferred. Minimum of five years of relevant recruitment or equivalent experience required.
Other related requirements/experience:
. Previous customer service and HR experience preferred
. Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple tasks and requests
. Excellent problem solving skills are essential
. Must be able to demonstrate recruitment networking and creative sourcing skills
. Ability to interact well with all organizational levels
. Ability to work independently. Integrity- maintains confidentiality at all times
. Verbal and written communications skills are essential
. Computer/Technical: Must possess PC technical aptitude
