Lockheed Martin Electronics Technician Maintenance: ATMP Sub-TFA GUNNERY: Ft Carson, CO in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description: The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a seven year Single Award ID/IQ contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems. The ATMP portfolio includes 250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide.

The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. PEO STRI’s published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.

Electronics Technician Maintenance III - Repairs electronics for the Combined Arms Military Operations on Urban Terrain Training Facility (CAMTF) and Conduct of Fire Trainers (COFT) at Forts Bliss, Carson, Chaffee, and McClellan; Camp Ripley; and Muscatatuck, IN. The CAMTF supports room and building clearing, search, location and seizure of contraband and high-value human targets, cordon and search as well as full combined arms maneuver in the urban area of operations. Repairs electronics for Tactical Engagement Simulation – Ground (TES-G) systems at Fort Carson. TES-G allows for engagement adjudication between infantry soldiers during force-on-force training exercises. Repairs electronics for the Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) Family of Training Devices at Forts Bliss and Carson. CCTT supports the training of Armor, Infantry, Cavalry, and Armored Reconnaissance units from squad through battalion/squadron level. Repairs electronics for the Common Driver Trainers, High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle Egress Assistance Trainers (HEATs), MRAP Egress Trainers (METs) at Fort Carson. These trainers enhance driving skills and survival during roll-over accidents. This is a Sub-TFA Gunnery position at Fort Carson, CO.
