TheFront-End Web Developer, Midwill develop modern, dynamic, and interactive web sites, and web-based analytic tools that enable our customers to productively interact with their data. TheFront-End Web Developer, Midwill be working with teams of very creative and talented designers, strategists and engineers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them to clear and concise epics, features and user stories following agile best practices

  • Create component interface specifications compliant to the client’s methodology standards (component-based design)

  • Help scrum team breakdown user stories into tasks

  • Raise impediments to the scrum master in time

  • Review functional documentation / epics/ user stories of peers

  • Actively participate in the board of analysts, promoting good analysis practices

  • Create and maintain sprint burndown charts in VSTS

  • develop innovative and modern web solutions for our customers

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of related experience.

  • Experienced with AngularJS and .NET

  • Experience in using VSTS and Agile method, NodeJS Developer

  • Experienced with responsive web design

  • Experienced with object-oriented design and implementation

  • Experienced in developing and consuming web services (SOAP/REST)

  • Experienced working with Agile Scrum methodology and VSTS

  • Hands-on experience developing custom UI components & directives

  • Hands-on experience converting UX/VD into HTML

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Work on an agile software development team, incrementally developing working software

  • Understand and model business requirements while respecting the existing architecture and systems

  • The ability to analyze functional problems and to choose the most appropriate solution

  • Create and maintain product backlog in VSTS

  • Participate in estimating the product backlog items

  • jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, GitHub, AJAX, REST API technical skills

  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills

  • Documentation skills to translate requirements into specifications for program objects, functions and systems.

  • Requires the skills to train, mentor and share knowledge in both individual and group settings

  • Can demonstrate team working skills bridging design, presentation and core technical skills

  • familiar with all layers of the full web stack to include hosting environments, the data layer, web servers, the business logic layer, the API and MVC layer, and the UI/UX layer.

  • Understanding of security standards and current knowledge of privacy by design
