Pay Rate/Range:

Employment Class: Full-time/Regular/Exempt

Work Days: Monday through Friday

Customary Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (*Hours are extended when work load is increased.)

Position Summary

The Supervisor, Data Analysis & Compliance will work across the Columbus Urban League (CUL) to strengthen the quality and coordination of the programming CUL provides and strengthen internal and external program communications. The Director will collaborate with agency departments as a compliance expert and evaluate companywide compliance with all appropriate rules, regulations, program, and contracting requirements. This position is responsible for supervising the Program Compliance Coordinator position and working with and supervising the Grant Writer contracted position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure overall compliance with agency operating procedures as well as any other applicable local, state or federal regulatory requirements.

  • Work with VP & CFO to oversee programming financial management and program compliance.

  • Develop and recommend program policies and practices to conform to all funding regulations and eligibility criteria.

  • Works with Program Directors to ensure proper management of departmental functions, program compliance, budgeting, and grants management.

  • Works with Program Compliance Coordinator to ensure overall compliance with program procedures and requirements, reporting, ensuring compliance with funding regulations, program outcomes, program expenditure monitoring, and program oversight to ensure compliance with grant specific requirements.

  • Work closely with the President & CEO to develop and accomplish programming goals, and create programming direction and vision.

  • Provide support to Directors to prepare for audits or reviews.

  • Provide oversight, as needed, on developing value added and mandatory analysis and reporting, including formats and timelines, for internal and external purposes.

  • Process and monitor agency data reports to ensure the accuracy of agency outcomes.

  • Ensure the timely completion of compliance department reports by collecting, compiling and verifying the accuracy of data from various sources. Assist with writing new reports as needed.

  • Work with HR Director, on an as needed basis to ensure that the Human Resources Department is aware of, and in compliance with, individual program requirements and regulations.

  • Provide supervision, direction and leadership to the compliance staff.

Required Experience:

Job Requirements Education and Experience:

  • Four-year college degree in human services, business administration, or related field.

  • One to three years in a management/supervisory capacity with experience in overseeing internal and governmental regulations.

  • Minimum three years related experience in nonprofit compliance, program management, or general business.

  • Must have sharp analytical and data interpretation skills.

  • Clear verbal communication skills and ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.

  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.

  • Ability to use good judgment and think quickly and rationally in difficult or stressful situations.

  • May require current, valid OH driver’s license and personal car insurance.
