AT&T Technical Sales Consultant 2 (SLED) in Dallas, Texas

This position is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert on technical solutions to ensure successful customer integration and implementation of company products, services and solutions.

  • Responsible for consulting with direct sales teamsand customers to provide technical expertise regarding the design,customization, implementation and account management of complextechnical products and services.

  • Contributes to unit sales plan throughpre-sales/post sales technical consulting activities.

  • Designs solutionsand provides technical support in sales presentations, productdemonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company products toensure the system is functioning according to specifications.

  • Managesthe technical discussions in client meetings across multiple levels anddisciplines to identify business and technical needs, issues andpriorities. Formulates responses to customer inquiries/questionsconcerning complex system software and applications, and providessoftware development and consultation to prospective users.

  • Understands,develops and delivers products/services/systems/solutions to customersbusiness, information, technical and educational needs.

  • May build amini-application, based on customer requirements, to demonstratefeasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping.

  • Requires a strong, working knowledge of company products and services.

  • May assist less experienced peers.

Education: Typically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Experience: Typically requires 5 - 8 years direct work experience.
