Utility III - 2nd Shift

Position Overview

To wrap finished rolls and operate roll-up when assigned to ensure continuous flow of material .


Wrap finished goods based on specifications on the Production Specification Sheet.

Print and apply finished tickets to the outside of the poly wrap on the end of the roll and the duplicate ticket on the side of the roll.

Responsible for operating roll-up.

Set up slitter knives to desired settings as necessary when required for splitting a roll.

Position cores on the roll-up rollers.

Initiate the roll-up process at the control panel.

Monitor the readout meter for the desired roll length.

Cut an edge the width of the material roll and separate the designated roll onto the staging table.

Inspect rolls for any wet, wrinkled, or burned spots.

Work Shift

8 hour, evening shift
