TheCustomer Claims Specialistis a key role. The Customer Claims Specialist is responsible for managing customer claims throughout the facility and ensuring timely resolution to customer concerns.

Primary activities of the role:

  • Input and process customer claims.

  • Approve claims within designated limits

  • Maintain claims records in accordance with Quality policy

  • Coordinate claims with Sales and Accounts Receivable Imbalance team to ensure timely disposition of claims for credit

  • Create and run reports related to claims and PPM

  • Coordinate with multiple remote Field Service Engineers

  • Directly coordinate with customers to follow up on claims resolutions

  • Interface with multiple Arconic locations to facilitate appropriate flow down of information

  • Coordinate corrective actions based on customer requests

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both Verbal and Written

  • Strong organization skills

  • Working knowledge of aluminum manufacturing processes

  • Strong math skills to calculate various percentages for claims resolutions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality, Sales, Supply Chain, or Customer Service

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
