Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

The Oracle CloudBusiness Governance & Planning Program Engagement Team has an immediateopening for a new team member to support our infrastructure growth initiatives.The candidate will own and manage the development of our supplier lifecycle managementprograms and set the rhythm of business for the network engineeringorganization. They will have full ownership of the business operations plan forvendor management and will ensure that all network infrastructure teamssupporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure are engaged and contributing to thisprogram. There is a heavy focus on data standardization, KPI and metricsmanagement, and on working across multiple teams within Oracle includingEngineering, Global Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic Acquisition andPlanning, Data Center and Network Operations, and Financial Operations.

The ideal candidate has up to 10 years of experience in networking programmanagement, technical program management, plus experience managing complexnetworking projects at scale, and is familiar and comfortable with hardwaresupply chain. The candidate is an exceptionally strong communicator bothwritten and verbally. The ideal candidate will be familiar with planning andacquiring assets across multiple regions globally, understand how cloudproviders like Oracle interoperate with other telecommunications, data center,hardware and materials operators globally, and have a background working onhigh visibility programs and projects. Supplier relationship management and theability to navigate conversations with C-level members of our supplier andOracle teams is a requirement for any candidate interested in applying for therole.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor s Degree or up to 10 years industry experience in networking, vendorperformance management, or network acquisition (experience can be substitutedfor degree)

Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule,budget, forecasting, quality, along with risk and critical path management.

Must be well organized and able to workeffectively in an ambiguous environment and love building programs from theground up

Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Atlassian(Jira, Confluence), Slack

Exceptional analytical, quantitative,communication, consultative, and presentation skills

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

Master s Degree or advanced professional degree

Data Center, networking engineering, systems engineering background anddemonstrated excellence

Supplier management, negotiations, and network acquisition and strategy

Understanding of global networking technologies to include IP Transit, DarkFiber, wavelengths, IRUs, peering, hardware, structured cabling, and datacenters

Experience in management of complex technology infrastructure projects at scale

Experience in working for or with global cloud service providers

Experience with and deep understanding of program management methodologies

Responsibilities

Manage internal and external vendor relations within Operations Department.

Perform as functional bridge amongst internal vendor managers as well asinternal stakeholders.

Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with externalvendors and internal employees specific to OCI networking

Ensure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuingvendor monitoring are being accomplished.

Help and coordinate vendor processes and methods to improve vendors.

Ensure to track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance with the PMOin Networking

Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required.

Identify improvement areas internally as well as perform closely with allinternal stakeholders to prepare solutions.

Identify and implement continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendormanagement plus product fulfillment.

Participate to formulate workflow processes, methods and policies for applyingvendors.

Ensure to collaborate with IT areas to assure vendor partners effectivelymanage plus contracts are completely leveraged.

Prepare processes for as well as manage analysis, selection and transition.
