This position is a player / coach role. The Sales & Customer Support team lead acts as an individual contributor as well as leading assigned Sales & Customer Support associates. This position assists the Business Unit Manager for the Americas in achieving team targets and KPIs as well as helping to drive team engagement and operational improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a role model for the Sales & Customer Support team
For assigned Sales/Customer Support associates:
o Provides daily supervisory oversight [supervision] o Conducts monthly phone and desk shadow sessions to provide sales support coaching / feedback (or more frequently, if needed) o Conducts quarterly audits o Provides time & territory management coaching o Provides and is responsible for monthly KPIs o Leads KPI’s, daily management, and problem-solving initiation and participates in the problem-solving process o Serves as first responder on managing customer issues as needed o Actively works to improve individual and team engagement
Assists in creation, maintenance, and execution of Sales & Customer Support action plan with direct supervisor.
- Assists in the hiring and training of new Sales/Customer Support associates
- Conducts, the following for assigned Sales/Customer Support associates: development plans,1-on-1 discussions, performance reviews, and performance management.
- Work s with Hach associates to achieve shipping targets and achieve on-time delivery objectives and maintain order management for all ELE International orders
- Creates, maintains, and provides weekly and/or monthly shipment forecasts
- Runs Noetix reports (shipments, bookings, price lists, etc.)
- Enter quotes and orders into Oracle, take customer support phone calls, make outbound telemarketing phone calls.
- Research and process claims, and issue warranty replacements or credits
- Processes payments for vendors.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a customer support role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of SFDC
- Minimum 2 years people management preferred.
Spanish fluency is preferred although not required.
