CACI International Mid Systems Engineer TS/SCI w/poly in Fort Meade, Maryland
CACI is looking for a highly motivated Mid Level System's Engineer with a current TS/SCI with poly to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.
More About the Role:
The ideal Mid'-Level candidate will analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. You will also get to analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. While guiding users in formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies. You will also provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. While incorporating new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. You will also get to develop technical documentation. In our collaborating atmosphere you will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Develop and manage/update requirements for customer needs, milestone deliverables, and minor/major planned software releases for streaming analytic tools and platforms.
Develop, maintain and publish projected timelines and milestone goals for platform development and delivery. Document and post in Confluence or wiki or other corporate document repositories as directed by SAS leadership.
Maintain and modify timelines as priorities shift, and provide feedback about projected timeline impacts for proposed changes.
Review Jira tickets for software development epics and task across SAS, general Jira reports as needed, and be able to project accurate timelines and schedule changes based on real progress.
Coordinate, schedule, deconflict, and send invitations for meetings, both in-person and virtual, for streaming analytic services personnel. Print and post calendars as needed by streaming analytic services leadership.
Act as DevOps and sustainment engineer for DISTILLERY and PIRANHAS systems, especially the two ALCOHOLBIZET systems.
Transfer technical knowledge from primary SA for ALCOHOLBIZET systems , to ensure adequate system specific knowledge for full coverage when primary SA is out.
Participate in SAS call-in schedule for after- hours system sustainment or emergency issues.
Work with SAS leadership and PEO staff to collect program and contract work breakdown structure, and create and maintain projected burn rates by contact/ TTO quarterly or by request.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
The Mid Level Systems Engineer will bring seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
