Your Impact As A Training Specialist I

*Job Responsibilities: *

  • Support the coordination and project management needed to successfully execute learning and development processes and initiatives.

  • Works closely with the immediate team to coordinate efforts, communicate with HR colleagues, and ensure appropriate efficiencies and processes are in place to streamline and execute work.

  • Apply program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of L&D; projects.

  • Administratively support projects through scheduling, meeting planning etc.

  • Support the delivery of L&D; programs and processes such as program set-up, communication with participants

  • Provide support to drive project requirements and plans including managing timelines, communications, quality, risks, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, and any other issues that arise.

  • Work with project/program leads and other stakeholders to identify the success criteria of the project.

  • Identify and document all project milestones and deliverables and keep project plans up to date at all times, including resource allocations, monitoring schedules, milestones, deliverables, updating percentage completion, etc.

  • Attend core team meetings to ensure an understanding of issues and open items.

  • Develop necessary presentations and documentation to support decisions and ideas.

  • Complete ad-hoc and special projects as necessary and based on business changes.

  • Support industry outreach and research necessary to ensure competitive practices and planning for the L&D; team.

  • Support ad-hoc projects, where appropriate.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:* *

  • 3+ years’ supporting Learning and Development in a corporate setting preferred

  • Strong learning technology orientation

  • Program coordination including working with participants, vendors, and stakeholders

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in managing projects

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with key stakeholders and leaders

  • Position requires that the individual must be able to hold confidences and exhibit utmost discretion

  • Data analysis expertise

  • Strong writing, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Be capable of creating surveys and assessments and data analysis

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent years of industry experience, preferred
