JOB SUMMARY :

Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes for patients of any age group and assumes responsibility for accuracy under the supervision and direction of Radiologist and quality control in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.

Participates in holiday, and weekend coverage as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

  • Must maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as RDMS.

  • Demonstrates leadership ability and thorough knowledge of all department policy and procedures.

License/Certification:

  • ARDMS Certified

  • American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

  • A.A. / A.S. Degree and or anequivalent from an approved AMA school.
