As a member of the Workforce Planning team, the Recruitment Specialist is primarily responsible for full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, attracting, screening, and interviewing of applicants with emphasis on timely filling of positions with quality hires. Ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and seamless transition to becoming an employee are key factors as well. The successful candidate must: - possess superior communication skills both orally and in writing - provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers -pay attention to detail and be able to multitask Duties: -Lead full cycle recruiting in a creative, timely, cost effective and compliant manner by creating and posting attractive job listings -Utilize and research new social media, networking and career fair strategies to enhance candidate attraction (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) - Ensure proper management of candidate applications and required additional documentation (DD-214, resume, cover letter, transcripts) through SOMRS online recruiting system ensuring all recruiting related files are accurate and organized - Build strong working relationships with agency staff and partner with hiring managers in order to ensure the highest quality candidates are received - Maintain a strong awareness of the market and trends and constantly be trying to achieve new and innovative ways to improve the recruitment process - Manage the Career Fair and Job Fair activities for the Department Required Application Materials: - Completed Application - Resume - Letter of Interest clearly detailing your experience in Human Resources, specifically in recruiting.
