CAREER TRAINING INSTITUTE Youth Build Program Construction Trainer in HELENA, Montana
Career Training Institute is seeking a full-time Youth Build Program Construction Trainer. This position will teach construction skills consisting of all phases of residential home construction, planning and development to young adults. Responsibilities include additional curriculum development, student supervision, advising and evaluation, development of community service projects, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. CTI Youth Build Program is partnering with the Helena Area Habitat for Humanity. The CTI Construction Trainer will work closely with Habitat and be an important part of the CTI Youth Build staff team. Qualifications include at least 5 years of professional construction experience working with all elements of housing construction, experience managing work crews and construction sites and working in a team setting, and strong communication skills. OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR certification preferred. The successful candidate must have respect for the ideas and intelligence of young adults and a commitment to helping young people succeed. Must able to pass a background check and have a good driving record.
