Position Description

Position Purpose

To develop and grow the domestic & International CPS India

Key Accountabilities

  • Working on the laid out sales strategy and converting sales opportunities

  • Manage the opportunities:

  • Monthly review of sales pipeline

  • Sales stages up-dated as opportunity is progressed

  • Win new business:

  • Comprehensive understanding of customer’s needs

  • Effective qualifying techniques

  • Write deal winning proposals

  • Develop and present deal winning presentations

  • Close deals quickly and effectively

  • Provide weekly sales activity and pipeline reports.

Working within the guidelines laid out in the CHEP Vision and Values statement


  • Fluent with English, local languages & Hindi will be an added advantage

  • Strong background in closing sales

  • Supply Chain or Food Science related degree or diploma (desirable)

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to close deals quickly and effectively with win/win outcomes

  • Ability to engage with execution level & middle management

  • Base IT skills – Excel

  • Ability to present the benefits of a product and service

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to achieve results
