The Health Information Technology Analyst provides advanced on-site technical services and support to employees at the Student Health Center (SHC) and the Olinde Career Center. The Health IT Analyst provides a single-point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment, in a primarily Microsoft Windows-based environment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The Health IT Analyst provides advanced troubleshooting for problems when needed and user training and assistance, if required. 25 Provides technical support to all users Installs and maintains newexisting hardware and software including, but not limited to assisting in the administration of a Microsoft Active Directory domain consisting of over 100 users, electronic health record (EHR) systems, secure faxing system, Mainframe user accounts, TWAIN scanning solutions, WuFoo on-line forms,and Microsoft MFA enrollment, Microsoft file share setup and security, and working with outside vendors to coordinate service for supported systems. 25 Works with the Health IT Manager to createmaintain IT standard operation procedures and job aid documentation. Assists with managing outside contractors engaged to support an accelerated IT environment, including but not limited to Medicat EHR System, eRad PACS digital imaging system, and Medicus laboratory system. Oversees the Health IT help-desk by creating, prioritizing, assigning, working, and documenting all support request in the LANsweeper management software. 20 Provides systems maintenance, support, troubleshooting, and upgrades for workstations, laptops, servers, and peripheral equipment Troubleshoots networking issues Administers anti-virus software Performs backup jobs Sets up conference room equipment Assists with management of network registrations Manages work requests for telephony and network installs. Assists with maintaining accurate inventory records of IT hardware and softwarelicensing as required by the IT unit and university policies. Manages warranty support requests through Dell. 10 Communicates with supervisor, staff, directors and administration regarding status of on-going projects, technology risks and recommendations for technology integration for the SHC. Participates in weekly meetings with supervisor and unit staff to discuss status of current projects, help-desk request, student employee progress, and other items as needed. 10 Supervises Health IT student employees by assigning task and monitoring for completion, relaying technical knowledge in a learning environment, creatingmaintaining a schedule, and completing weekly time cards. 10 Performs other duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with at least three (3) years of experience working in a help-desk or technical support environment. Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, Microsoft Group Policy Management, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a computer related field. At least five (5) years of experience working in a help-desk or technical support environment. Advanced Excel or Access skills (pivot tables, data models, Access queries) Experience working in a health care environment or with an electronic health record system. Special Qualifications Ability and willingness to work some evening and weekend hours. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Due to the nature of the position andor position responsibilities this position shall be subject to drugalcohol testing in accordance with University Policy 67.
