ACCO Brands is seeking an Asset Designer at our Kettering, Ohio office. This position will play a pivotal role in the design and development of digital and conventional content supporting products for ACCO Brands. The Designer will balance individual creativity, good packaging, typography and digital asset trend knowledge that result in content and supporting materials that best meet the needs of our partners and consumers.

How you will impact ACCO Brands:

  • Work independently or with Art Director to create and execute design concepts for content supporting multiple product lines and Brands in the ACCO portfolio. Primary focus will be on digital content but will include some print collateral.

  • Generate accurate digital files for all assigned products.

  • Manage products and work efficiently in a deadline driven environment. Responsible for high volume, fast paced image and content production

  • Track status of each project, maintaining 100% on-time delivery.

  • Ensure projects go to market error-free and meet customer and/or licensor’s specifications.

  • Perform photo post production including, but not limited to, retouching, color correction, clipping, cropping and compositing

  • Responsible for producing content tailored to meet specific brand and customer guidelines. Includes both digital assets and print collateral.

  • Follow templates and style guides

  • Complete other assignments, as needed, at the direction of the Art Director.

  • Occasional opportunities to act as lead on special projects/product lines

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Graphic design, Web design or related.

  • Experience: 2-3 years minimum, preferably with a digital content focus.

  • Strong degree of proficiency in all Mac related programs (Adobe Creative Suite)

  • Strong Interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal marketing managers, licensors and outside agencies.

  • Ability to take direction and execute requirements with strong attention to detail.

  • High levels of creativity and innovation demonstrated through samples portfolio. Portfolio review is part of the interview process. Please provide link to digital portfolio. (if applicable)
