Position Summary:

A Claims Operations Processor is responsible for correctly entering incoming check payment vouchers to claims within a specified time frame as well as ensuring return to sender checks are mailed to the correct address.. A fast paced check processing environment to include identifying, resolving and entering data pertaining to claims information and payment concerns. This person will be responsible for projecting an exemplary company image through positive interactions with team members and business partners. Additional responsibilities include handling various types of incoming mail to include various media, checks and other claim related items.

Essential Duties:

  • Researching claim notes to gather correct data that corresponds to incoming recovery checks.

  • Mail checks to appropriate clients or claimants per instructions from Resolution Managers.

  • Demonstrate superior reasoning skills while exhibiting quality towards data entry in generating recovery vouchers.

  • Prevent and defuse production of errors through research, exploring alternative solutions and follow up to ensure a successful resolution for each incoming check.

  • Upload documents from media received through centralized mail processing to the correct claim file.

  • Investigate claim information to appropriately determine the correct mailing addresses for return to sender checks.

  • Forward appropriate letter to client/claimant for specific situations.


  • High school diploma

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience

  • Strong typing and basic computer skills


  • Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word
