NewcrestImage Management Regional Director of Sales in Lewisville, Texas

We are a trendsetting company that is acutely focused on culture and that strives to “genuinely care for people so their lives are enriched.” We are currently looking for an additional Regional Director of Sales based in Lewisville, TX that will be have the opportunity to contribute to our sales success by providing creative ideas in areas of sales strategy, training, and process improvement. The primary focus is to maximize revenue opportunities at each property, and work with peers in Revenue Management and eCommerce to achieve hotel revenue and market share targets.

While this position will be strategic, the ideal candidate must be able and willing to be “hands-on.” In addition, some of the key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Strategy In conjunction with hotel leadership, develop and implement property sales strategies designed to attack specific market segments, key accounts and identify need periods to achieve budget and RevPar growth.

  • Goals Set and articulate clear revenue performance sales goals and KPI’s for each hotel and sales person, and monitor performance against those goals.

  • Coach/Train Provide scheduled sales training and ongoing individual coaching on areas that help drive new sales. Ensure sales team readiness and improve/increase sales effectiveness. Be a sales mentor to developing sales managers and leaders.

  • Leverage Brand Resources Become a brand sales expert for the company portfolio, leveraging the brand programs, resources, tools and initiatives for Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and Choice.

  • Tools Learn and leverage the services and tools provided by the Company to include HotelSalesPro, TravelClick Hotelligence, CVENT, STR, Brand Systems & Reports, Brand lead sites, Training & Shop Service.

  • Leadership Lead and work in a friendly collaborative manner with the property and corporate teams through daily/weekly communications and coordination with all departments. Provide strong vision and communications for responsible market segment.

  • Results Own the segment goals and take responsibility for leadership of those segments and results measure by revenue and market share.

  • Communication/Reporting Provide updates on segment revenue and sales activities vs goals monthly, and status on achievement of hotel sales action plans, with an emphasis on any focus hotels.

  • Travel Conduct on-site hotel sales visits in conjunction with the with the priorities set by the Company. Perform sales reviews, coaching sessions, and occasional sales calls to top customers. Brief written recap of the visit with a focus on follow-up items.

  • Staffing Achieve peak sales performance through development of a strong sale team. Continually monitor and evaluate hotel sales staff, and maintain an active recruiting effort to fill any open position

  • Priorities Responsible to apply multi-tasking skills that are essential to continually adjust to activities, market variables, corporate initiatives, and hotel varying hotel financial performance. Accountability Be personally accountable for collective segment revenue goals and overall RevPar goals, and foster a culture of joint accountability at the hotel level to include the DOS, Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator.

  • Recognition Encourage and support a fun selling environment that fosters a culture of sales excellence and happy and productive sales team members who are recognized for goal achievement. Identify and communicate significant sales milestones, team and/or individual achievements.

Bachelor’s degree and/or combination of advanced degree and equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5 years in the hotel industry in select/limited service and extended stay brands required.

Solid experience with Group and Business Transient hotel segments.

Management experience in branded hotels.

Strong oral and written communications is essential.

Ability to travel outside of the Dallas area up to 40%.

Professional demeanor.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must be computer literate.

Must be able to perform fast pace or varied pace administrative multi-tasking, requiring sustained and focused mental concentration.
