LIBBY AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE General Manager in LIBBY, Montana

The Chamber General Manager is responsible for all of the day to day operations of the Libby Chamber of Commerce. The General Manager, under the supervision of the Chamber Board, will manage the day to day promotion of the Libby Community and the Libby Chamber members through the various outlets as determined by the Board including but not limited to; general marketing, public relations, and community outreach for the Libby Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber acts as an information liaison, and the General Manager will be responsible to gather information from the members to share with the community and visitors through various outlets. The General Manager, under the supervision of the Chamber Board, will manage the member billing, receive and enter payments, and track ongoing projects and fundraisers. The Chamber Manager will be responsible for managing membership services, making sure that the Libby Chamber members are receiving and utilizing their member benefits, as determined by the Board. The Chamber acts as the community's Visitor Information Center (VIC) and should be staffed and stocked to provide area information to our members and visitors. The General Manager will be responsible to establish a professional presence to represent our community and our Chamber members, with the overall goal of growth and retention. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:* Web site management* Community Updates - including but not limited to; Weekly Newsletter, Press Releases, Social Media, Partner web site updates* Quickbooks management* Member Services Management* Community Outreach* Other Duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS:* Knowledge of greater Libby area and the services provided by member businesses* Outstanding customer service skills* Strong computer skills - Internet knowledgeable, Quickbooks proficient, graphic design a plus* Strong communication skills - both verbal and written* Attention to Detail* Ability to maintain a professional appearance
