We are currently offering the opportunity for dynamic and engaging individuals to join the Schwab Intelligent Services team that supports our Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Schwab Intelligent Advisory digital solutions. Schwab Intelligent Services is part of the Planning and Portfolio Group, which supports five critical businesses including Schwab Private Client, Schwab Intelligent Advisory, Schwab Intelligent Services, Wealth Strategies Group and Portfolio Solutions Group.

What you’ll do:

As a Financial Service Professional within Schwab Intelligent Services, you will support Schwab’s two digital advisory solutions – Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Schwab Intelligent Advisory. You will provide clients world-class service over phone, email and chat to understand their service needs and help them plan for their financial futures. You will also work with our Planning Consultants and Branch network partners to support their client interactions.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the markets, empathy, energy, and problem solving while delivering unparalleled value and outstanding service to our clients.

  • Respond to client research and service requests regarding Schwab Intelligent Portfolios, including questions about the portfolio, financial markets, cashiering, and account opening and funding.

  • Respond to client requests about Schwab Intelligent Advisory, including how to schedule an appointment, completing the online planning experience, and account opening and funding.

  • Provide investment education to our clients to empower them to make well-informed financial decisions

  • Engage clients in needs-based dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and to position the appropriate Schwab solutions and relationships

  • Uncover development opportunities to further deepen our clients’ overall relationship with Schwab

  • Be part of a fast-paced environment where you will work on a small, highly collaborative team of 10-12 professionals with a supportive manager focused on your professional development and coaching to achieve your long-term career aspirations

What you have:

  • Active FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses

  • Minimum 1 year financial services experience (2 years preferred)

  • Demonstrated passion for service, financial planning and investing; strong client-focus and the desire to build and deepen relationships during each interaction using needs-based consultative approach

  • Well-developed and effective writing skills

  • Ability to multi-task and process concurrent chats

  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service via Client Chat, Email, and phone

  • Moxie platform experience (preferred)

  • Able to utilize non-verbal cues to better understand client needs and motivations; able to empathize with others' needs and respond sensitively; able to use good judgment when responding, and take action in order to successfully meet the client’s objectives

  • Able to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems in order to proactively identify solutions to client financial needs

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in order to adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines

  • Proven work ethic with a high level of integrity to build trust with our clients and internal partners

  • Collaborative and relationship-focused work style with demonstrated success in a team environment

  • Open to ongoing coaching and development to achieve positive client outcomes and achieve professional career aspirations

  • Able to work in a structured schedule and a variety of shifts, which may include market (M-F daytime) hours, late nights, early mornings, and/or weekends as pre-determined by business need

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related area (preferred)
