Job Description Summary:

The position will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating communications and strategic plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Management Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Supports Engineering and Technology change efforts by establishing and executing communication plans. Consults and collaborates with project teams. Identifies, evaluates, and manages anticipated resistance in user readiness. Supports content developers and Organizational Change Managers. Constructs and distributes communications focusing on business unit specific change initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, Journalism, English, Business Communications, or related field, or suitable combination of education, experience and training; plus 1 year of experience in a Communications environment. .
