Raytheon Logistics Support Specialist Team Leader in McKinney, Texas

The Logistics Support Specialist Team leader is focused on supporting the Center of Excellence (COE)’s SAS Logistics Support Specialist employees. These individuals are the frontline leaders within the WLE organization on day to day execution of Raytheon approved processes and procedures on a variety of programs across SAS. This position will be responsible for leading of logistics support specialists who provide item management support to the customer. These logistics support specialists are Raytheon's key to Raytheon’s management of Government Owned Assets and meeting Raytheon’s commitment to property management. This position is responsible to coordinate the training, organizing and deploy of personnel to achieve program requirements while maximizing system performance and minimizing cost. Additionally, this individual must possess the communication skills to discuss complex support issues in sufficient detail to ensure problems are accurately identified and addressed. This position is a direct liaison between program management, functional engineering and the customer and must be able to analyze and evaluate support alternatives under the stress of operational system employment. Roles and Responsibilities Coordination of Logistics Support Specialists Day to Day Execution Management Across Multiple Product Areas (STS, AMR, EW, Airborne Processors) Have working knowledge in Logistics Support Specialist responsibilities Provide Performance Feedback on all Logistics Support Specialists Listed in WLE Central Includes Feedback on New Hires and Work Dissemination Across Team Help Support Specific Program Task Interactions with Product Area Leads and Cross Functional Teams as Required Development of New Processes within COE Identification of Requirements Engineering Instructions Proposal Lead for new Logistics Support Specialist Efforts Required Skills: Minimum of 6 years related experience Ability to work well with all organizational levels and possess both good oral communication skills. Good attention to detail Working knowledge of Logistics Management Skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and to deliver accurate documentation under deadline pressures Familiarity with the following tools/applications: Internet Explorer, PowerPoint, Access, MSWord and MS Office applications. Must have excellent Excel skills. Knowledge of Finance /Business/Accounting Forecasting and Budget Management Ability to obtain DoD Security clearance U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
