Facebook Strategic Sourcing Manager - Marketing in Menlo Park, California

Summary:

Facebook is currently searching for a seasoned professional to work in Finance to be part of the team that is responsible for management of our key strategic vendors, agreement negotiations, professional services, and purchases. This person will work closely with key Marketing teams meeting their fast paced needs in relation to strategic sourcing strategies and contract/statement of work execution.

Required Skills:

  1. Develop Category strategies for the Marketing & Creative services category and lead the development of sourcing strategies and category roadmaps

  2. Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and Category management practices

  3. Establish Marketing Preferred Suppliers program to channel spend appropriately

  4. Responsible for the development and maintenance of sub-category plans in alignment with business units

  5. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to strategically manage spend

  6. Analyze spend data, internal requirements, and external supply markets to develop strategic sourcing strategies and plans aligned with the business goals

  7. Manage complex sourcing projects and lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company

  8. Build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers

  9. Identify and report key performance metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement ensuring alignment with sourcing plans

  10. Serve as a procurement SME to key stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing procurement services to meet/exceed their expectations

  11. Perform user and supplier compliance audits as appropriate

  12. Provide regular communication and training on processes and systems

  13. Prepare sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents

  14. Perform the supplier management function in collaboration with the business

  15. Develop strong partnerships with Marketing Operations, FP&A, and Legal teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree

  2. 5+ Years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement for Marketing & Creative services

  3. 3+ years Category Management Experience developing and implementing category plans for Marketing & Creative services

  4. Conceptual experience coupled with a proven track record of implementing sourcing, strategic, and process improvement initiatives

  5. Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting and supplier management

  6. Influencing and change management experience with experience managing multiple priorities

  7. Experience thinking strategically and operationally to solve business challenges

  8. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and Tableau financial modeling

  9. Experience taking quantities of data, perform analysis and make recommendations on sourcing opportunities

  10. Experience in handling a variety of marketing related agreements including but not limited to media, marketing and advertising, professional services, market research, and events

  11. Executive presence, presentation and engagement experience
