Job DescriptionPrimary Purpose of Job:Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems and related infrastructure. Ensure the system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational guidelines. Participates in research and development projects to support innovation within the infrastructure.Essential Functions of the Job:* Coordinate with teammates and other technology support personnel to preform general and routine system procedures such as backups, restoration of data, permissions changes, patch application, and testing. Provide basic Windows Server and administration support for daily operations. Resolve customer requests, perform daily operation support, and ensures system availability/stability in a manner that meets or exceeds defined performance metrics and provides zero-interruption to enterprise operations.* Follows standard procedures and guidelines to install, patch , configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, and maintain systems, software, and peripherals.* Review and monitor systems for availability, error conditions, adequate space allocation, backup integrity, and performance to ensure system stability.* Collaborate with teammates and software vendors on project efforts to achieve implementation plans and timelines.* Generate reports and provide capacity data to support metrics for hardware warranty, software licensing and asset management systems.* Provide general and routine technical support to a broad range of installation, patching, configuring, and updating of operating systems and non-OS vendor applications. Maintain documented procedures for server infrastructure. Collaborate with all technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems.QualificationsMinimum Education Requirements:* College (4-year) Degree in Information Technology or Computer ScienceExperience Required:* Two (2) years minimum experience in infrastructure technologies* One (1) year minimum experience in server/storage support* Two (2) year minimum experience in providing IT customer support to internal business colleaguesRequired Skills or Training:* Possesses a thorough understanding of server/storage technology* Demonstrated understanding of data privacy and information security regulations* Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of constituents; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships* Demonstrated ability to appropriately prioritize multiple assignments and complete work within tight deadlinesTo apply please email opens an email client application
