Intuit Senior Marketing Manager - Paid Media TOF Team, Intuit QuickBooks in Mountain View, California


Intuit’s QuickBooks, Small Business & Self Employed Group (SBSEG) is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead Top-of-Funnel (ToF) Paid Media Strategy for QuickBooks products. This is a great leadership opportunity to be at the center of accelerating Intuit's growth. We're looking for a Paid Media expert with a passion for innovating, great collaboration skills, a test and learn mindset, and drive for results.

As the Senior Marketing Manager for the ToF Paid Media team you will be responsible for campaign development, strategy and testing focusing on TV, OTT, Display, Video, and Paid Social advertising. You will take the lead in developing breakthrough media campaign strategies and implementing growth practices aligning to Quickbooks business strategy. You will play a key role in driving growth for the QuickBooks brand and business across multiple target audience segments. The role will entail implementing industry-leading best practices to develop breakthrough campaigns via research, analytics and experimentation. This role will focus on bringing traditional and creative ideas to drive greater reach to grow customers. You will work with senior management, analytics, brand and media teams to help shape media strategy, evolve performance measurement and deliver impactful consumer intelligence.


  • Drive data driven-decision making that will institutionalize the use of consumer-driven analytics in media investment planning

  • Partner with our media agency to deliver on data-driven media investment decisions (how much, where, when, which channels, etc…)

  • Transform performance results, customer behavior insights, and learnings into actionable strategy and planning to drive a system of media excellence across TV, Audio, OTT Display & Paid Social campaigns

  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure campaigns are prioritized by impact and delivered on time

  • Lead market and competitive analyses efforts, with internal and external partners

  • Serve as internal expert on media and marketing measurement, including traditional and digital channels Design, interpret and improve upon research methodologies for media effectiveness measurement

  • Work closely with analytics teams to standardize KPIs, automate standard reporting and optimize the sharing of data driven insights

  • Scope and direct advanced analytics and research projects to ensure that the deliverables are designed to answer valuable brand and business performance questions.

  • Lead the deployment and implementation of innovative measurement tools, campaign measurement and creative rotation testing

  • Act as a liaison between media teams, research and key data stakeholders. Actively develop relationships and foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between marketing teams

  • Support testing, best practices and learning agenda efforts to deliver breakthrough campaigns

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in a strategic Media Planning, Marketing Analytics &/or Consumer Insights Research

  • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale marketing strategies, including increasing consideration and acquisition that drive revenue growth

  • Strong understanding and experience with media buying, KPI development and research practices during campaign planning and execution

  • In depth knowledge of user research methodologies and research tools (Nielsen, MRI, Comscore,…)

  • Thorough understanding of TV, OTT and digital platforms and measurement. Proficiency with syndicated research tools in TV, digital and social media required

  • Exceptional analytic abilities, problem solving skills and a passion for data based decision making

  • Strong communication skills, both internal and external, with ability to translate findings and recommendations out in a simple and effective manner

  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline driven environment

  • “Test & Learn” mindset with track record of innovation

  • Ability to translate customer insights into marketing activities that achieve tangible results

  • Strong track record of team collaboration and cross-functional partnerships

  • BA/BS, degree in quantitative/ business discipline. Masters/ MBA a plus
