The North America Marketing Team is seeking an experienced writer who is passionate about storytelling, marketing, online advertising strategy, conceptual storytelling, analytics and driving measurable results at a large scale. This role sits within our Business Success & Storytelling team and works closely with internal groups, external agencies and production companies to develop and bring compelling stories, presentations and speeches to life. This person will be responsible for creating measurable and scalable content across our Global Sales Organization in North America. This role will work on the Facebook Family of Apps & Services that serve the advertising and business communities globally (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, etc.).
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work with cross-functional teams in a creative, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will be marketing savvy with a background in overseeing many moving pieces to produce break-through presentation content.
This is a full-time position based in Facebook’s New York or Menlo Park office.
Work with leadership in marketing and our in-house creative department to draft strategic messaging for use with our Sales teams, for our clients, and more
Create marketing narratives for keynote presentations to be given by Marketing and other Facebook leaders
Review and edit messages, presentations & speeches based on feedback from leaders, PR, Legal and other parties around the company
Support the NA Marketing strategy and identify and develop new and innovative ways of delivering against team mission, vision and culture
Identify through lines for content deliverables and ways to scale content across teams
Lead projects and programs from brief to delivery
5+ years experience creating speeches, marketing narratives and other forms of business-focused communications with marketing and creative storytelling
Experience drafting short- and long-form content for stage and/or print
Experience working with graphic designers, event producers and marketing executives
Project Management experience
5+ years of business experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Quip, Outlook and knowledge of internal tools
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Creative Writing or related field
Expert knowledge of marketing and/or digital advertising
