Wyndham Destinations Director of Sales - In House - Ocean Boulevard in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina


Manage the daily activities and results of sales teams by providing coaching, training and development. Establish and monitor goals while developing individually and as a team ethically and with integrity. Model and strengthen our corporate culture while ensuring site performance objectives are maximized. This Director position will oversee the Sales functions. This position is responsible for attaining defined sales targets; expense control; personnel selection and development; ensuring external and internal customer satisfaction. As a director you will also be responsible for properly managing a budget. Financial acumen will be a key ingredient to the success of this position. You will also partner with Marketing to determine best practices for tour generation / flow. A past history of managing budgets and expenses will assist you in this critical role. You are comfortable with handling all levels of customer service and maintaining a true Count On Me! service model.

You will effectively deliver required monthly / annual sales targets, train, evaluate and monitor employee performance goals, adhere to all of Wyndham's sales policies and guidelines by representing the company in an ethical, moral and professional manner at all times, partner with Marketing to ensure proper tour flow generation / sales, consistency of sales presentation at all sales offices from a regulatory and company policy perspective and be responsible for staffing and retention and create action plans and performance plans as necessary.

§ High School Diploma is required

§ A criminal background check is required

§ Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred

§ 5 years experience working in the Vacation Ownership industry

§ Prior history of delivering exceptional customer service at all levels

§ Minimum 2 years experience working for Wyndham Vacation Resorts

§ Proven goal oriented results in a commission driven / sales environment

§ No timeshare license or real estate license is necessary in South Carolina

§ Prior experience successfully managing sales team(s) in goal oriented environment
