Randstad is seeking an HR Manager for a Manufacturing facility in Largo FL.

This is a direct hire opportunity with the salary starting around $45,000 a year.

Position Summary:

-Formulate and recommend Human Resource strategies, policies and objectives for company that drives business performance and employee satisfaction.

-Responsible for all employee relations, communications, and company activities.

-Manage all unemployment claims for the plant.

-Responsible for mentoring, conducting performance evaluations, counseling and providing corrective actions to assigned personnel with a goal of developing a team oriented approach with positive results.- Comply with all employment laws and support affirmative action/equal opportunity goals.

-Prepare and/or distribute periodic reports to management and discuss with them including, but not limited to monthly turnover reports, exit interview summaries, etc.- Provide regular follow up and coaching where necessary on such information.

-Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

-Work hand in hand with recruitment services to find well qualified applicants.

-Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.

-Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, for all employees.

-Recruit, interview, and hire hourly employees and some salaried employees. Conduct orientation for all new employees.

-Ensure compliance with federal and state law.

-Administer all policies and procedures for all employees.

-Oversee attendance control program and ensure proper documentation and disciplinary actions are given.

-Manage plant safety, discipline and applicable labor contracts consistently throughout the plant facility.

-Maintain plant payroll for hourly employees and enter data into a human resources system.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
