Lockheed Martin Test Operations Lead in Orlando, Florida

Description: This position is for an Engineering Aide to support the Production Operations at RMS on a variety of programs. Specific responsibilities will include hardware and software validation, asset configuration, networking, system stand-up and operational testing, data collection, acceptance test, quality assurance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of test systems. As such, good written and verbal communications skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Other responsibilities of this role to include supporting established management initiatives and goals through the team. Reporting production operation status and progress on a regular basis. Assisting with personnel and resource related plannings and evaluations by providing task estimates, structure, and requirements. Assisting test team with resolving technical difficulties and acquiring assistance from engineering POCs, documenting findings, and suggesting areas of improvement. Providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathering, maintaining, formatting, compiling, and manipulating technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Producing engineering documentation, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performing detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Using personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. Conducting tests and recording data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

There is an expectation that this role emphasize on assessing assets to customer specifications, establishing test plans, scheduling activities to meet needs and schedules, conducting testing as required, and making decisions to ensure data accuracy.

Performing these tasks occasionally requires climbing ladders, lifting test assets, and a good understanding of computer networking and electrical principles. Additionally, swing shift, extended shifts, and weekend support may be required to support test schedules as well as the availability to travel to support remote operations on occasion.

Basic Qualifications:

• Good written and verbal communications skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications to author and review test procedures and related documentation

• Ability to read and understand electrical and networking schematics

• Experience with Windows and Linux server installation, debugging, and configuration

• Experience with configuring networking assets

• Experience with electrical test equipment

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Possessing a Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance

• Ability to author fillable PDF documents

• Experience with ALIS (Autonomic Logistics Information System) Test

• Experience with F-35 Full Mission Simulator Test

• Experience setting up, configuring, and debugging complex computer networks

• Experience with RMS Production Test Operations policies and guidelines
