Seeking an undergraduate intern to manage some of Intel Arizona's community outreach programs. Responsibilities will include interaction with many internal groups through stakeholder management to support employee volunteerism. Candidate will help identify, plan and execute site-wide and business-unit specific projects, reporting to the Arizona Community Engagement Manager within the Global Public Affairs and Sustainability group. The candidate will specifically assist with project management and administration, communications, and overall program support. Intel relies on its community engagement programs to enable its License to Operate within its site communities and the student will be part of a small team responsible for building the company's reputation within the local community.

Part-time internship (averaging 20 hours per week) desired for 3+ months. Candidates may be needed for occasional weekend or evening event support.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must be pursuing a BS or BA in Public Relations, Communications, Business or a related field of study.

  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong project and time management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
