Position Summary:The Small-business Commercial Sales Analyst functions as a key position in the Small to Medium Commercial Services Department of Green Mountain s Commercial Division. The SCSA reports to the Acquisition Commercial Sales Manager (ACSM) in Plano, TX. Broadly, the SCSA is responsible for effectively managing relationships with 3rd party broker channels, and achieving predetermined sales goals; by making regular broker channel visits, leading technical and analytical presentations and trainings, executing on deal specific pricing requests and proposals, managing and delivering ongoing broker/client commitments, and promoting products and services offered by Green Mountain Energy in the ERCOT, NYISO, and PJM service territories. The SCSA will also aid in inter-departmental strategies and communications related to pricing desk performance and functions.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The Small-business Commercial Sales Analyst will work with and make regular visits to 3rd party broker channels to promote beneficial relationships in order to maximize closing ratios and profits

  • Assists in maximizing GME Matrix sales by working with and acquiring feedback from our 3rd party broker channels

  • Responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals via executing deal specific requests and proposals

  • Responsible for promoting GME products and services in all of our service territories

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of products, services, and contract language in order to aid in 3rd party broker channels understanding of the language

  • Responsible for being a market expert on Sustainability; products, trends, and a general knowledge of commercial sustainability benefits

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills required

  • Effective presentation skills for group speaking and educating 3rd party broker channel partners

  • Outgoing and friendly personality for managing and growing business relationships with 3rd party channel partners

  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills

  • Strong data and analytic skills

  • Passion for Sustainability

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience

  • Ability to travel as needed on assignments

  • Effective and efficient in using Microsoft Office programs

Physical Requirements:

  • A blend of work performed in an office from a seated or standing position; as well as some travel for making 3rd party channel visits in TX and the Northeast service areas.

Working Conditions:
