This team plays an integral, high visibility role in working across the company’s Marketing, Digital, and IT organizations.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will responsible for schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for projects and products. You will keep your teams on track, making sure that goals and objectives are being kept. You’ll be deeply immersed in AAPs business and market space, dedicated to delighting our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • This position functions as a leadership role in the team's best practices and good governance across the spectrum. Reporting on project progress, offering viable solutions and opportunities as they arise.

  • Oversight of project/product-level strategic and tactical plans, monitoring and adapting as needed.

  • Creation of project plans, objectives and maintaining project budgets. Managing resources, schedule, portfolio and implementation of change practices.

  • Monitoring production and quality to customer/stakeholder/sponsor standards.

  • Leading meetings and setting expectations for project/product teams. Provide detailed reporting on projects and portfolios.

  • Leading by example, seeking consensus and helping the team to be greater than the sum of its parts.

  • Be in the vanguard of a truly agile, true DevOps, true CI/CD culture here at AAP.


  • Agile/Scrum and/or PMP certification are a plus.

  • Proven leadership skills, with expertise in conflict resolution.

  • Analytical and demonstrated organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and visual, with the ability to work across business and IT / development teams.

  • Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.

  • The following is a plus: digital marketing tools and technologies: 3P tags/tag management, SEO/SEM/SEP.

  • While you'll work with specialists for UI, UX and design, we should all bring a sense of balance and layout.



  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.

  • 10 plus years experience in project management


  • Leadership in team contexts.
