Kadlec Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Staff Office Assistant to join our growing Medical Staff Services team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Day shifts.
GED or High School Diploma from an accredited educational institution required.
Two years general office experience, which includes public interaction, required.
Medical terminology experience required.
Experience in software applications, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and power point presentations required.
Hospital experience preferred. Medical Staff Services experience preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As an Medical Staff Office Assistant you will plan and perform office functions to assure smooth, timely and efficient operation of the Medical Staff Services office; Perform a variety of administrative and clerical functions in support of the Medical Staff and the Medical Staff Services Department; Attend meetings, takes minutes and assures accurate and timely follow up; Assist the Medical Staff Services Specialists with projects related to credentialing functions; and performs receptionist duties for the office.
Assists in developing department and committee meeting agendas, prepares and distributes packets and attends medical staff meetings.
Documents and composes minutes of meetings for the approval by the Medical Staff and follows through with appropriate transactions and correspondence.
Notifies committee members of meetings, changes in meeting dates/times and cancellations.
Maintains Outlook email contact list for committees.
Maintains and distributes monthly Medical Staff meeting calendar.
Tracks expirations and follows up to receive required documentation.
