Responsible for initial stages of all tissue donor charts to include the review of recovery records, requesting records from third party providers such as hospitals, EMS and other health providers and final compilation of all records for every tissue donor chart.

Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (including donors) through established feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.
Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the entire donor chart process to include initial review of recovery record, input of information into TMS database, request and compilation of all third party records, and organization of tissue donor charts.
Responsible for efficiently and accurately compiling tissue donor charts prior to review by QA and Medical Director.
Maintain a close working relationship with appropriate management keeping him/her informed on issues pertaining to job activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Run departmental errands as directed.
Requires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
Prefer sixty (60) hours from an accredited college or university or Associate Degree from an accredited college or university OR high school diploma or general equivalency diploma plus experience.
Licenses and/or Certifications
Texas Operators Driver’s License
Certified Tissue Bank Specialist preferred
No prior specific work experience required.
Prefer review of hospital records experience.
Prefer experience in requesting records from medical records departments.
Prefer tissue bank experience.
Must maintain knowledge of and perform according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Must maintain a knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), cGTP (current Good Tissue Practices), and regulatory requirements concerning all aspects of the Tissue Center.
Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.
Must have strong computer skills.
Must have excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills.
Must be able to make good sound judgment decisions.
Must be neat in appearance and well groomed.
Must be professional, organized, detail oriented, communicative, and have the ability to greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner.
Must keep all donor information confidential.
Works in a well-lighted, air conditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required.
Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization.
Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.
Requires to reach, lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
