The Strategic Planning team within Retail Mortgage Fulfillment Operations is looking for an Analytic Consultant 3 to support all of the Retail Operations teams and key partners. This role requires experience in analytics, data management, and reporting. The successful candidate will have proven ability to effectively partner across and within business functions with specific focus on staffing planning, resource management and capacity balancing.

Basic Responsibilities include:

  • Consult with business partners to identify business requirements and translate information into insights and recommendations.

  • Perform analysis on volume trending and performance metrics

  • Source data from multiple locations

  • Technical savvy with Microsoft, Workforce Management and other capacity analytics tools

  • Execute back-testing and reconciliation procedures

  • Documentation of process and procedures

  • Run forecasting tools/models to determine accurate proper staffing levels

  • Lead and facilitate crucial conversations with high level leaders and key stakeholders

  • Partner closely with business partners to make recommendations for optimizing performance.

  • Consult with Finance partners on budget models

Position Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of Retail Fulfillment forecasting/ planning activities and execution.

  • Responsibility for planning and collaboration with other lines of business in the enterprise on resource opportunities.

  • Direct partnership with BCA, Finance, HR, National Underwrite and Production Risk Management (NUPRM).

  • Development of peak volume/staffing requirements.

  • Optimization across the enterprise resource sharing capabilities during non-peak volume periods.

  • Collaborate with Production Leaders and teams to drive execution of capacity related strategies.

  • Strategic planning with NUPRM Team on underwriting staffing and skill stratification.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
