Sharp HealthCare SRS/RB Supervisor Urgent Care in San Diego, California
Responsible for effectively managing the activities and personnel of a busy Urgent Care department. Provides leadership and direction to staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and internal and external customer satisfaction. Acts as patient and employee advocate, works cooperatively with physicians, and ensures communication with and among staff in accordance with Sharp Rees-Stealy mission and goals statements. Provides clinical expertise that assures the highest quality patient care.
Nursing Administration oversees the entire mutli-disciplinary ambulatory clinic and is committed to providing high quality care and to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Acts as a patient and employee advocate, works cooperatively with physicians, staff and team members to ensure good communications in accordance with the Sharp Rees-Stealy Mission and Goals.

This position is located in Rancho Bernardo, San Diego County
8 hour shift: 8:00am-5:00pm, weekends as needed, call required
Required Skills and Qualifications
Current unencumbered California (CA) Registered Nursing (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Clinical Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required within 90 days)
Minimum five (5) years relevant RN work experience
Ability to effectively manage the activities and personnel of an Urgent Care department and/or other assigned departments
Knowledge of technical and operational aspects of an ambulatory service setting
Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
Ability to identify strategies to resolve issues and implement solutions
Ability to work productively and effectively under pressure, remaining flexible with shifting and conflicting priorities
Ability to demonstrate advanced clinical nursing skills and knowledge and act decisively in emergent situations
Act as a clinical resource to all levels of staff

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing
