Paralegal - Lease Administrator 0979 Corporate Office Citi Trends, 104 Coleman Blvd. Savannah, GA 31408 Lease Administrator \nDEPT.: LEGAL\nREPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT OF LEGAL AFFAIRS\nWAGE SCALE: HOURLY/NON-EXEMPT\n \nSUMMARY: Responsible for the accounting and auditing of the leases for the Company's stores and offices.\n \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\n \n\nOversee the company's financial transactions for stores lease payments, renewals, common area maintenance, taxes and insurance expenses.\nEnsures that billing and all other financial transactions are being taken care of in a timely manner.\nCompile monthly rent roll for assigned stores and submit changes management.\nAdminister lease accounting functions for assigned group of stores, including impound reconciliation, scanning invoices, creating check requests and maintaining real estate payables.\nMust be able to interpret lease provisions and dispute charges not permitted under the terms of the lease.\n\n \nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.\n\nMust have excellent computer skills with an understanding of spreadsheets, database software, and the internet\nMust be well organized and have a strong ability to pay attention to detail\nMust be able to communicate with others, identify problems, and resolve potential conflicts\nMust have strong oral and written communication skills are critical\n\n \nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree preferred; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training in the area of accounting and/or administration of real estate leases.\n \nLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand documents such as general correspondence, department reports and office procedures, and understand legal documents and statutes.
