Northwest Eye Surgeons has an exceptional opportunity for a glaucoma subspecialist with outstanding surgical and interpersonal skills to join our well established multispecialty practice. Immediately assume a significant portion of the medical and surgical volume being handled by our existing 2 glaucoma specialists in our Seattle and Renton locations with opportunity for growth in our satellite offices. Established in 1986, we have 6 locations and 4 state of the art surgery centers located throughout the beautiful Puget Sound area. Some of the practice highlights include: State-of-the-art facilities, electronic medical record system, and an established co-management approach with secure referring communities.

Our complex and diverse patient population requires a compassionate, flexible and self-motivated individual with demonstrated clinical judgment and in-depth practice experience. Requirements include unrestricted Washington medical license, US board eligibility/certification and DEA certificate.

  • Willing to serve as a liaison between NWES and the optometry community

  • Demonstrate interpersonal and written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrate interest in organizing and providing continuing education (lecturing) to local and state optometry groups as a representative of NWES

  • Support esprit de corps as a team member of professional staff

  • Interest in practicing Ophthalmology at the highest standard by staying abreast of new technologies and practice patterns

  • Glaucoma Fellowship is preferred

  • Working in Renton and traveling to Seattle weekly
