Duties: Work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes for supported applications. Define technical and functional strategies and technical design for work assignments. Write technical specifications for features to be developed. Provide technical guidance and feedback to business partners and IT management as required. Review design and build specifications and apply process guidance and governance for assigned projects. Comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. Participate in peer code reviews for the team to help ensure project, organizational, and IT risk management standards are followed. Develop applications, test automations, and implement performance testing. Develop and support production deployment.
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer, Research Associate, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer, Research Associate, or related occupation.
