WAGSTAFF INC Account Executive (Temporary - FT) in Spokane Valley, Washington

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is anticipated to be a 1 year assignment, with the option for Wagstaff to extend it based on business needs. This position is temporary, full time, and benefits eligible. This position is not outside sales. Job Summary Work with Area Sales Managers to sell products and services and generate proposals. Additional duties include answering customers' questions regarding product, service, discontinued products and product enhancements. Primary Job Responsibilities * Generate sales proposals, including gathering of information from Area Managers, customers and/or Applications Engineering to provide pricing and lead times * Upon receipt, process orders and manage them through our internal processes including but not limited to contract review, project management, order tracking, sales order plans, kick-off meetings and input forms * Provide customers with information and respond to inquiries regarding product, service, equipment operation and maintenance, changes in service, discontinued product or product enhancements * Investigate and rectify errors in supply or service in accordance with Customer Feedback (CF) system; refer complaints of service or product failure to appropriate department for investigation and continue to manage TFs through closure * Visit customer sites to become acquainted with customer and customer processes * Participate in industry trade shows and Wagstaff user conferences * Coordinate customer visits to Wagstaff * Ensure interactions with the customer are of the highest quality and value * Abide by company policies * Maintain confidentiality * Periodic domestic and international travel required depending upon customer and company business needs * In order to achieve business objectives, work weeks in excess of 40 hours may be required * Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or other relevant field, plus two (2) years experience in customer service or industrial sales; OR a minimum of five (5) years experience in customer service or industrial sales, OR equivalent combination of education and experience * Order management experience * Proficient in the use of applicable business software * Detail oriented, accurate, and thorough Working Environment While performing the duties of this job on Wagstaff premises, work is performed primarily in an adequately lit, well ventilated, climate controlled general office environment. Close computer work is regularly required. The work usually involves minimal physical exertion. The noise level in the general office environment is usually moderate. This job may require occasional or more frequent interaction with employees on the manufacturing shop floor. While on the shop floor, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risks of moving equipment and parts, and other risks associated with a manufacturing environment. Because of this environment and associated risks, coordination with shop floor managers/employees may be necessary before entering the shop floor, and use of job appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing is required on the shop floor. The noise level on the shop floor is often loud. This job may also require occasional or more frequent travel to and work at customer sites.
