Athlos Academy Maintenance Manager - AASC in St. Cloud, Minnesota

Responsibilities and Duties
Maintenance and Custodial Supervision: Maintain assignment as a maintenance worker while overseeing the other maintenance and custodial staff; with the Executive Director, engage in hiring, performance reviews, and termination of staff; ensure that all staff are properly trained for their maintenance and/or custodial roles; with the Executive Director, procure necessary materials for the success of the maintenance/custodial teams.
Safety Coordination: Provide safety training (equipment, work practices, chemicals, etc.) for maintenance and custodial staff and oversee government program compliance (O.S.H.A., A.D.A., HAZ-MAT, playground equipment safety, gas operations, fire code compliance, etc.) as directed by school administration.
Facilities Systems Supervision: Monitor all operational systems within the school and perform and/or oversee appropriate maintenance or contact appropriate contractors for maintenance. Responsible for the completion of all required preventative maintenance of school facilities systems.
Building/Grounds Project Supervision: Plan projects in accordance with school administrations? needs; develop bid specification, were appropriate; oversee bid process; oversee projects completed by external contractors.
Budgeting: Work with Executive Director to identify needs for upcoming school years and to ensure adherence to current year operational budgets.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: Three years of public school maintenance experience; one year of experience in a supervisory role
