As a Senior Manager – PMO, you will be responsible for managing a team of project managers, to ensure consistency, quality and value is being delivered to our customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the EHI portfolio of projects and work with other leaders to ensure we are focused on the right efforts and strategically aligned with the other IT departments. You will be responsible for ensuring that latest project quality standards are being followed and risks/issues are being identified and escalated as needed. You will also have the opportunity to create, enhance and maintain processes that improve the team and potentially other department teams' effectiveness.
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for defining and achieving the goals, objectives, processes and resources to support the overall strategic vision. You will direct people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. You will also be responsible for developing and retaining strong performers and preparing them for future responsibilities. You will collaborate with Department Managers to identify and plan for resources needed to accomplish goals put forth by the business while maintaining IT security policies. You will also identify, develop, and implement policies, standards, and procedures that support team activities associated with specific areas of expertise or responsibility, and lead individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures.

5+ years of experience successfully managing people, including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews
5+ years IT related experience with project management in a large environment
Strong team work qualities, with the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with peers, vendors, senior management, and other departments
Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Must have a professional attitude, a strong desire and ability to take ownership, the ability to provide high quality customer service, and a willingness to expend additional effort when necessary or required
Proven experience in working and communicating effectively within cross-functional teams
Ability to establish team objectives and work approach; delegates assignments to manager(s) and/or individual contributors; reviews results to determine success of operation
Sets high standards for performance and follows through on performance requirements
Able to effectively manage problems and conflict as they arise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
2+ years IT related portfolio management in a large environment
Knowledge of financial acumen to support business case creation and measurement
Experience developing and delivering presentations, training sessions and demos
Experience leading a geographically distributed team
